A woman approximately 80 years old hasn’t walked unassisted in many years.
Her daughters had to carry her around. One leg was limp and she was wheelchair ridden for years.
The only reason she would get out of her chair was when she had to use the restroom. The patient postponed the bi-lateral total knee replacement surgery for years out of fear.
However, after finally being convinced to have the procedure, she is very happy she had it done.
